Intern, Clinical Mental Health

You are ready for a change, but don’t know where to start – it’s perfectly okay not to have all the answers because you don’t have to face it alone. I firmly believe that therapy is a constructive initial step towards alleviating the things in life that hurt.
Michaela Jacobson

Michaela Jacobson

Clinician (PLPC)

Counseling sessions address current areas of concern within the realms of emotions, career, identity, and relationships, as well as symptoms stemming from past trauma. I believe that meeting people where they are, making sure they feel heard and seen, and using a collaborative and strengths-based approach in therapy is important in leading people to achieve their goals.

I have seen both professionally and personally how growth and healing can occur throughout the therapeutic process. Whether you are seeking change for current concerns or trying to better understand past experiences, I believe everyone is deserving of having their story heard, being treated with compassion, and feeling accepted where they are at.
