Lauryn Paulus
PLPC
Play therapy and trauma-informed care for children (3+), adolescents and families.
About
Whether navigating family conflict or childhood trauma, my approach is warm, empathetic, and rooted in your unique strengths.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel empowered. My clinical experience includes working with children (ages 3+), adolescents, and families navigating challenges such as family conflict, anxiety, depression, trauma, and attachment-related concerns. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I integrate evidence-based practices tailored specifically to your family’s strengths and goals.
As a trained Play Therapist, I specialize in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). This non-directive approach recognizes play as a child’s natural language, allowing your child to safely express and process their thoughts and emotions. In addition to play therapy, I incorporate specialized training in TF-CBT, AutPlay, cognitive behavioral therapy, and sandtray techniques.
Whether through play therapy for your child or traditional talk therapy for teens and young adults, my goal is to support you in discovering your inner strengths, fostering resilience, and cultivating meaningful connections in your life.
